Cancellation & Refunds
These guidelines outline how IIMMate handles session cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for both mentorship bookings and digital notes.
Mentor confirmation window
After payment, mentors have up to 48 hours to confirm one of the requested slots or propose an alternate time within the next three days. The first session of a Long Term Mentorship has an extended 72-hour confirmation window.
If no agreement is reached on a single session
When a single-session booking remains unresolved after one round of negotiation or the mentor rejects it, IIMMate automatically refunds the mentee in full and deducts a ₹150 penalty from the mentor wallet.
Long Term Mentorship — first session
If the mentor fails to confirm the 1st session of a Long Term Mentorship within 72 hours, or rejects it, the entire plan is cancelled and the full amount paid is refunded to the mentee. A ₹300 penalty is deducted from the mentor wallet.
Long Term Mentorship — 2nd & 3rd sessions
If the mentor fails to confirm or rejects the 2nd or 3rd session of a Long Term Mentorship, the session credit is returned to the mentee's plan (no cash refund) so they can book again with the same mentor. A ₹150 penalty is deducted from the mentor wallet.
Plan expiry
Long Term Mentorship is valid for 90 days from purchase. Any unused credits at expiry are forfeited and are not refundable in cash.
Rescheduling
Any changes outside the platform are not covered. Please use the in-app negotiation flow to reschedule so payments and confirmations remain valid.
Digital notes
All note purchases are final once the watermarked PDF or asset is delivered. If access fails due to a technical issue, contact us for review within 48 hours.
